What I Can Help With

People come to me with various worries or concerns and each issue is 'individual & personal' and can cross over many different headings over a period of time. So I have compiled a list of the most common concerns I work with to help you decide if I am right for you.

  • Continuous low mood or sadness feeling hopeless and helpless, having low self-esteem feeling tearful, feeling guilt-ridden, feeling irritable and intolerant of others having no motivation or interest in things, finding it difficult to make decisions, not getting any enjoyment out of life, feeling anxious or worried having suicidal thoughts or thoughts of harming yourself.

Relationship Issues

  • Divorce, problem relationships, family tensions, social interactions or loneliness.

Low Self-Esteem

  • Poor self-worth or a lack of identity, possibly from bullying or emotional distress, social media responses, feeling a lack of value in a peer group or the community.

  • Similar to PTSD, however due to traumatic events that happened early in life, caused by a parent or carer, experienced the trauma for a long time, due to being alone during the trauma or perhaps there’s still contact with the person responsible for the trauma.

  • Intentional harm to yourself, resulting in the internal pain being seen.

Suicidal Thoughts

  • There's no right or wrong way to talk about suicidal feelings – starting the conversation is what's important.
